BOS for Agriculture

The whole season,
in view.

Know what each hectare costs before the season ends, and see the cash gap between harvests before it hits. BOS understands farm timing: you get paid at harvest and pay out all year round.

Every season starts in a new spreadsheet. Inputs get logged late, and nobody knows the real cost per hectare until everything is settled. Cash between harvests is managed from memory, and the grain elevators’ contracts live in somebody’s inbox.

How it rolls out

A roadmap for your company.

You don’t need to migrate everything on day one. This is how most companies in the industry move forward once they start with BOS.

PHASE 1 · GET ORGANIZED

Cost per hectare, without waiting for the close.

Seasons and plots loaded with their input and field-work budgets. Every expense is charged where it belongs, and cost per hectare stops being an estimate.

PHASE 2 · PURCHASING AND SETTLEMENTS

Purchases and settlements, charged to the plot.

Purchase orders to suppliers with comparable quotes, settlements linked to the client and the plot, and the running accounts of grain elevators and suppliers always clear.

PHASE 3 · AURORA TAKES THE LEAD

It flags things before you ask.

Aurora flags the cash gap between harvests, follows up on late settlements and shows you the margin per plot without you asking.

The full picture

Every plot and every season,
with its real numbers.

Agronomic data lives in your farm software. BOS runs the business: inputs, purchasing, settlements, critical suppliers and the cash that funds the next season.

Every season with its budget

A budget per season and settlements linked to the client and the plot: what was spent and what was collected in each one.

Inputs at real cost, charged to the plot

An input catalog with each supplier’s cost kept current, and every purchase charged to the plot and the season.

The gap between harvests, anticipated

The cash projection knows you get paid at harvest and warns you before the gap.

Margin per hectare, no spreadsheet

Inputs, field work and services charged to the plot: margin per hectare comes out of the system, not a spreadsheet.

Grain elevators and contractors, up to date

Grain elevators, contractors and haulers with contracts, running accounts and due dates in view.

Dollars and pesos, never mixed

What’s agreed in dollars and what’s paid in pesos, each in its own currency with the conversion in view.

Waybills without typing

Upload grain waybills, contracts and certificates, and Aurora reads them, extracts the data and reconciles it.

Who does what on each front

Tasks per work front with an owner and a date, and progress in one place — not in scattered WhatsApp threads.

What each plot leaves you

Margin per plot and per season, input costs and projected cash — live, without waiting for the accountant’s close.

After-sales and loyalty

The season closes.
The relationship continues.

Next season is decided months before planting. Whether you’re a grower, contractor, grain elevator or advisor, BOS keeps the history of every client and supplier so you reach out within the window that matters.

Season after-sales

Settlement claims and adjustments with their status and owner, not in a WhatsApp thread.

Who comes back and who doesn’t

History by season and by plot: which clients come back, who planted less and who to contact before the next planting.

A year-round relationship

Aurora flags the input decision window: the conversation happens before buying or selling, not after.

Technical capabilities

The foundations that protect
your company’s data.

1

Each farm’s data is kept separate from every other account in the database itself, not just on screen. If something fails, access closes — it doesn’t open.

2

Role-based permissions, enforced at four points, from the screen to the database: each person sees and does only what’s theirs to do. Payroll and billing are stored separately, with stricter access.

3

Sign in with your Microsoft or Google account, with two-step verification, and every session is protected and renewed securely.

4

Infrastructure on Supabase (SOC 2 Type 2, encryption at rest, backups with point-in-time recovery) and Vercel (ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II, DDoS/WAF mitigation) — certifications held by our infrastructure providers, not by BOS as a product.

5

Several companies in one account: companies, leases and trusts kept separate, each currency on its own, and the group’s consolidated numbers.

6

Connects with the systems you already use through a public API and signed automatic notifications (webhooks): it doesn’t force you to replace them — it runs the business around them.

No strings attached

Use what works for you. Nothing more.

Every module is customizable, and its features can be used partly or fully: none of them is mandatory. You can use BOS just as a task planner and leave the rest alone — it stays available, included in the same subscription, for the day you need it.

Frequently asked questions

What people always ask.

Does BOS replace my agronomic software?
It doesn’t force you to. Planting, application and yield data can stay where it is — BOS connects via API and runs the business: inputs, purchasing, settlements, suppliers and cash. If at some point you’d rather BOS do it all, it can be set up that way.
Does it handle barter deals?
Not out of the box: barter is configured custom for your operation, and it’s charged to the plot and the season.
What about seasonal cash flow?
The 13-week cash projection knows you get paid at harvest: it shows the gap before it hits and which collections could be brought forward.
Does it work for a small grower?
Yes, from a family farm to a group with several companies. The roadmap is the same; only the pace changes.
How long does implementation take?
Most start by loading the current season (Phase 1) and add purchasing, settlements and Aurora later, without migrating everything at once.
